HELLO GIN TOURNEY PLAYERS....Good NEWS....

The best 2 of 3 game tourneys have returned.
and this is how they work.

They are single elimination.
Brackets are given as usual.
First player in pair sets the table.
*****After the first game is completed, the td gets a notice of the games winner, and the players will play another game with the same opponent. If the opponent wins the second game, a tiebreaking game is played....If the first winner prevails, the one player is dismissed and the winner of the 2/3 advances as usual.

Just remember, ..THE WAIT IS LONGER AND THE TOURNEY LASTS LONGER...

We ask that if you are a slower player, please try in all your best to speed up, even a little, to keep the flow of the tourney going smoothly. Even the slower players don't like the long waits. So if all work together, these can be really fun......And it gives all, time to get to know each other, if you have a bye or are waiting for an opponent.

Games will be 100 pt settings, at least mine,

Come give these a try.....

....a new table is to be set for each game. This table will be set for the second game by the non-setter. If a tiebreaker is necessary that table should be set by the original setter.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
