Satellite Tournaments begin Friday Feb.8 @ 1 : 00 P.M.
10 Person Mini's @ $25/Person with a 90% Payback for Entry to the Main Tournaments.
Mini-Winner gets Main Tourney Entry paid 2nd gets $75 & 3rd gets $50
150 Point 3 game Hollywood- Score Bonus is 150 Points/Game plus 25 Points/Box difference, Total Score of all 3 games
Determines winner of Match - Single Elimination
A “Blitz” counts as double.
Saturday Feb.9 Partners Tournament Begins @ 1 : 00 P.M.

A Copy of the Tournament Rules can be picked up at Magoo's anytime before or during the Tournaments
The 10% Fee Magoo's is taking from the Prize Pool is to cover the costs associated with Holding a Tournament.
Includes Table Time,Cards, Printed Matter and Minimal Overhead. Winner's should feel unrestricted to Tip a Little
A Calcutta will be held @ 12 : 00 P.M. Feb.9 for the Partners Tournament and @ 12 : 00 P.M. On Feb.10 for the Singles Tournament.
No Smoking in Immediate Tournament Table Area

Sounds fun and Tulsa is close enough to manage. Is this an annual event, monthly, quarterly? Just wondering if there are other opportunities.

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
