HELLO ALL THIS IS THE MASTER JUST SAYING HI AND HOW MUCH WE LIKE HOSTING TOURNEYS FOR ARE GC PLAYERS. AS WE GROW AND GOT BIGGER THEASE COUPLES YEARS AND ALL THE NEW FRIENDS THAT JOIN US WE LOVE U ALL LOVE TO SEVER U .AS WE ARE volunteer HERE AT GC .MEANS WE DO JUST FOR U ALL SO LIKE IN A SHOP OR EATING PLACE WE TIP FOR A GOOD JOB DONE. SO HERES A TIP WE ALL CAN DO TELL UR TD OR WHEN A TD COME IN SAY HI TELL GC. HOW WE DO!! IT A FREE TIP, AND GREAT FOR US TDS TO KNOW HOW MUCH WE MEAN TO THE PLAYERS OG GC.( TYVM THE MASTER) PS. LET HEAR THEM TIPS

Sam, you are something very special and even I enjoy playing in your tourneys. As a TD I also would like to hear a bit more about players' feelings towards us. It's hard to explain to the players that we do this for free and it's just a thank you for all the players we enjoy playing with.
Okay players, it's your turn to say thank you to us.
As usual, Sam has hit the nail squarely on the head. Thanks Sam and thanks for being a TD.

As I have said before - I don't know how or why you guys (TD's) put up with us. This great site & service couldn't exist without your wonderful mentoring & monitoring. Like a great referee or umpire you are at your best when hardly noticed. Your never recognized and only hear the complaints and never the Attaboys. As I sit here I am raising my glass and saying 'Thank You Mr./Mrs. GinRummy Site Tournament Directors' - THIS BUDS FOR YOU !!!

When I was a kid, my parents taught me to respect Teachers, adults and policemen. We only went to the doctor when we were almost at death's door. The doctor was always right.

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
