Joke for the day

There were two blonde girls working for the town public works department. One's job was to dig a hole and the other would follow behind her and fill the hole in. They worked furiously all day without rest, one girl digging a hole, the other girl filling it in again.
An onlooker was amazed at their hard work, but couldn't understand what they were doing. So he asked the hole digger, 'I appreciate the effort you are putting into your work, but what's the story? You dig a hole and your partner follows behind and fills it up again.'
The hole digger wiped her brow and sighed, 'Well, normally we are a three-woman team, but the girl who plants the trees is sick today.
Good one!

Just recently, I made a trip from Boynton Beach, Florida, to Port Chester, New York. When I arrived at my home in New York I wanted to notify all my dear friends and decided to do it with a bit of a twist.
This is a contest, with a winner to be announced. The object is to guess the time it took me to make the trip. The closest person to the actual time will be given a prize of my chosing and will receive the notariaty they will duly deserve.
The trip is 'door to door', 'portal to portal', 'mi casa a mi casa'. The time includes all stops for gas, restrooms and walking the doggie and cassual purchases; light snacks.
Please post your calculations/guesses in this Forum.
I will accumulate the results and post the winning name next Monday, May 10 at this time.
Good luck and great forecasting

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
