im not the smartest guy around , im sure u already noticed, but even dummys think, and here it goes , it might not type out the way i wanna say it but here it goes, u make a table invite only , y? u tell me.. u make a table unrated y ? u tell me u make a table with out hitting invite only u have a rating at 1699 a 1400 player joins what do u do? u tell me. now i dont care who made ratings and rankings ,im honest i say it how it is. the answer to all questions is this. U AS A HIGHER RATED PLAYER DOES NOT WANNA LOOSE TO A LOWER RATED PLAYER. so if there were no rating, how would u no the abilty of that player?would u play a 1100 rated player? if u had 1700? i wouldnt for 2 reasons well mayb 1 reason , i look at it this way i loose i win but i seem to stay at a consistant rating..... sum1 at 1100 either has no clue or is a person just learning. i myself like to play with people who no how to play and to play a unrated game sorry to say , but when u do that it shows u care more about ur RATING than anything eles.so i think rating and ranking r the way to go, and as far as top players (which i am not)would it b fair for a top player to play terrible player, and the top player wins they should get as much as the bad players gets when he or she beats u? no its not fair if a lower player beats a top player do they desever more of rating than u? to me yes. to me picking on a lower rated player just for a win is unfair, and if u win u should only get minimal points, but if the weeker player wins, to me they deserve the maximum rating from higher player, so this is y i like the way it is now i dont think anything shold b changed. take ur %s and all that other stuff and chuck it,play the game play people in ur rating or ranking and have fun were not in school were not playing to pay the mortage, well least im not any way. i play for fun and when i c all this bout whos bettter and % and win lose ratio ,.... just makes me wonder..... why??? just tell me y just b happy ur heatly play the game b a good sport win or loose , o well this is me the dude they call RAMPAGE the wanna b gin pro.....so like they say (IT MUST B THE SHOES) do u really think its the shoes ? no hard feelings . and calc loosing up a little relax when ur playing and dont play so much 'BY THE BOOK' its to predictable love ya all to each his own and i ty guys for being gentle men and having this debate without hard feelings ty RAMPAGE C U ON THE TABLES ....... o and i have played calc a few times ......... but now i dont c him much .....and boatman i just wanna play him to c y he likes to play to a millon. lol catch ya latter...

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
