Frequent Player Credits

I was skimming through the 'manage account' section of my account and stumbled upon this new benefit of Game Colony giving back 5% of their commission to every $$ player after each game they play after they hit 35 games each month. Obviously for us VIP players that play a considerate amount of games on here, it is very much appreciated and I just wanted to use this post to say Thank You to Game Colony for giving back a little. I am sure they are thinking that this is a way to say thank you to us as well for playing here and at the same time I'm sure it may even generate more games played knowing that there is a little something more for each player. I think it was a very good decision on two ends... the business end for them and the 'PR' side as well. On our end, it's just more $$ in our pocket for doing nothing more than we currently doing anyway. Best of all, even though everybody benefits no matter if you play for $1 or $100, this does reward the players more who play for higher stakes than others and I think the idea of the money Game Col is gving back being directly proportional to how much you play is perfect.
Again, thank you for implementing this positive change here at this site. Looking forward to being reimbursed for some of my losses

At the risk of being redundant, thanks for your gesture of good-faith towards the players that support GC. The issue of number of matches played has been a sore-point with me since we have a tendency to invest more into the site and as a result have lower ratings then those players that pick and choose.
I must be honest, I was having second thoughts about the number of matches I play since it seemed to be a 'penalty' for playing too much.
My feeling, besides the love of the game and the love of this site, is that there is a quality of play factor standard for players playing over a certain number of matches versus non-volume players.
Thanks again for doing the right thing; as always.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
