Just wondering, does anyone know what happened to the 'cableguy'? I like reading the forum and getting different peoples perspectives, he always had something to add to the posts. Haven't seen him in the forum or in the game room. Haven't ever played him but he seemed to be a regular.

I'm not familiar with the cableguy... are you maybe thinking off Calcguy? I always enjoyed his responses too and haven't seen him for awhile. Maybe someone else knows about cableguy.
Thx for your post quietime4me.

You are correct, it was calcguy. I must of had Jim Carrey on my mind! I don't know what I was thinking because he was always calculating things, that is why his posts were always interesting. Hopefully he'll be back with more speculating.

He has (like so many) probably changed his name! A practise that I REALLY feel should not be allowed.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE AGAINST PLAYERS CHANGING THEIR NAME? AT ONE TIME, I WAS 'FATSO' AND THEN I LOST 140 POUNDS. I SURE WOULDN'T WANT TO HAVE TO KEEP THE OLD NAME. THERE ARE LEGITIMATE REASONS FOR ALL KINDS OF PLAYERS TO WANT TO CHANGE OR NOT CHANGE THEIR HANDLE. THERE HAS TO BE A PLACE FOR EGOTRIPERS & $TRIPERS ALIKE! 'LETS NOT FIX SOMETHING THAT ISN'T BROKE'! Let it pass. I peresonally don't care who changes his/her name and how many times they do it. I would rather know who I am playing since it does make the game more enjoyable for me.
This is a well beaten subject and it should rest in piece...

You mentioned you goal was to attain the highest rating and you did but where did you go? I must admit I did enjoy playing with you and also exchanging views in the FOrum.
Come back little Calc_Guy whoever you are...

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
