Would it be possible to design a message center to leave messages for friends on the site who you only see once in a while due to work and living conflicts. Difficult to keep in touch w/people from the other side of the world. Any suggestions, comments, or ideas?
good idea

I thought that just this morning. It would be nice if there was a window for messages that you would like to post without going to the forum. Many players don't read the forum and the chat box scrolls quickly and all messages are lost when you disconnect. An example being, last night I was playing a game (winning or I wouldn't have asked) and I got an unexpected call to pick someone up. It just so happened that this player had said BRB because of phone. I typed when you come back please abort, I have to pick my daughter up. She came back as I entered it and aborted. I was grateful (maybe she lives in same city and we both got called to pick up band students at same time, who knows!) but I would have liked to have left a message saying thanks but I don't even know this players screen name. The Main hall's page is narrower than the other pages, it seems there would be room to expand and add a small message spot, that stays until full, then scroll. It wouldn't be used for joining or complaining. This could be controlled by only letting registered players use it, having to sign on through a window, eliminating use of certain key words, etc. Or another idea ... is you can leave messages to players, when they sign on it says if you have a message you go to your profile page and there it is. Anyway, just some suggestions.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
