i have to thank Mab ever since she explained to me excatly what i was wondering, bcuz i finally got it yesterday and now that i understand its helped me with my game i have broke 1400 woo hoo!! and the hole time it was rite there in front of me the numbers in blue is ur melds u have to start with and now i no y i couldnt pick stack and they could,it all fell into placethe meld value goes up if u score more than ur apponetso like Mab said dont give up ur hand make sure u could make ur melds b4 putting ur cards up .and bcuz i learned this i been trying the wild threes and sum1 told me a few tricks , and let me tell ya changes the hole game its like 2 games in one .... thanks again

You're very welcome Rampage..and you didn't say you are getting very good at the game Ramp. I'm always so happy to help and the very best of all is seeing someone lost become a great player. Hang in there you are doing mighty fine.

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
