I am very sorry to hear this. Our TDs are extremely polite and in fact that is one of the characteristics for which they are chosen. TDs are volunteers and I suppose it is possible this TD was just having a bad day. However, because this mannerism is so unlike their personality it is possible their chat was not showing up on your screen. In either case please accept our apology for this unacceptable behavior. I'm sure there must be a logical explanation for it.

That sounds like an oximoron to me.
Just kidding. In my experience as a player and as a TD I know of only one rude TD and that TD was dealt with immediately. You see, the pay isn't enough to take the chance of them being fired so they have to be polite.
TD's volunteer their time and enjoy the players, the site and the people. Well, most of the people.
Sorry to intervene but I just had to get my two cents in.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
