Pool Players

Out of every game I have played on G/C the pool players are the rudest, is it so hard to say gg? or hi? I just played 2 players that were the worst, a power shot that banked the 9 ball 3 times (lucky win) and left w/o a word. Have played over 12,000 games in crib, never got this bad of treatment, lighten up pool players

Hey sweetie I agree with you about these pool players. So I'll take a dose of cpearcy's advice and get the kindness, respect and friend like you, back in Cribbage. Some of these players do shoot well, but I think most these players should take lessons for manners. They could sure use them.

Agree on the politeness

I agree with t_n_t and you know what? We will change one person at a time.....some will convert and others won't.....some have reasonable excuses.....some don't. But, in our little ways we will make a difference and I believe over time, there will be a change. Keep the faith one and all, and above all else, smile and have fun!

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
