I think its funny that once some people make the top 10 that all of the sudden they set up tables with the only on invite box checked.

I am disappointed that it is nearly impossible to get an up game and there is no way to challenge anyone on this ladder---UNLESS you get to the top 20. My question is---HOW? I wonder if perhaps gamecolony.com could recommend another gin site that allows challenges to more than the select few. Of course I could just bite my tongue and enjoy my 2 up games per week but..............
It would be nice.....

It would be nice to take out that 'invitation only' button altogether...If you are lucky enough to be in the top ten, then it sounds to me like you are a better or luckier player....so be good sport and play all that want to play.. no matter what their rating is.. Then, if you play all player,.in my opinion, you would deserve to be in the top ten..at No. 1 in my book.....If you don't like to play the players with smaller ratings, just remember that you once had a lower rating yourself..and you learned the hard way too...so play with all of us and you will gain the respect of all players..as we lower ranked players are learning from your play also.
And a great big THANK YOU, for all who play all players, not matter what the ranking or ladder point value is...
X does not mark the spot...just hard feelings, sometimes....now if there is a special player you are waiting on for a special game, then x would be acceptable...just dont make a habit of it....

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
