I know there is some words you can't say while your talking to the player you are playing but why can't you say CHICKEN? I was playing my friend and I was telling her what I had for dinner and when I said CHICKEN, they stopped me from talking to her. WHY?

There are many words which are filtered. I never thought about 'chicken' being one of them. As you know and I am sure can appreciate, GameColony has strict chat policy.
Anything in chat or at table that could be offensive to anyone is hopefully blocked. This can be one word or a combination of words.

Unfortunately in our language one word can have several meanings. In this case the only one offended by this situation was the chicken herself as she had made her way to your dinner table. Apologies for your inconvenience.

Enjoy the games.

what a foul (or should i say fowl) situation that one cannot discuss what they had for dinner.
Part of the reason i play is to get to know people from around the world and it makes the game more fun.
So Moderators, dont be chicken, lighten up on our chatting or we might have a bone (maybe chicken) to pick with you..

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
