i love GC and the majority of players are great sports, good fun, and enjoyable to play against but for some reason there always seems to be one (edited)that wants to spoil it for everyone else. After all its only a game what's the point in being rude and anoying & stupid. I'm sorry to post this because i think that most people are very polite so its a shame to bring this up.
I think in future players that are out of order should be named and shamed. Maybe this is a bit harsh but it might sort them out.
Thank you
Someone must have been having a bad day!

Good point Marty, and you're right , in general all the players here are pretty civil to each other.This site is attracting alot more attention now and Marty's point should be well taken.
Later;
hmmmmm?

Well, this is for all players.
If you engage in a chat with another player and it turns rude, offensive or other. Then action should be taken. Simply copy the text in the Chat Box and paste it into, 'Contact Us'. Plz do not lower yourself to the level to where you maybe considered rude or offensive.
Thank you Marty_y and awesomeagain!

Well said Doolin... The Contact Us link is good for alot of purposes. And the sooner someone let's Admin know about a trouble maker.. the sooner it's dealt with. They're always willing to check out a problem child and sort it.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
