True Story (telling on myself - lol) Posted by PEGASUS (VIP) Jan 4 2006 10:52AM This is an 'oh too true' story.... <br><br>Recently a woman visited her son in a nearby state. While there her daughter-in-law lent her a really neat game on a CD. The days (weeks) passed and the memory of where that AfterDark CD went faded. The daughter-in-law decided to load that game on another family computer...but alas no CD. She looked high and low...no CD. She was so distressed...it after all was her favorite game (stupid mindless game but likeable). ahhhhh. One day the son was chatting with his mother and out of the blue she says, 'Hey..I still have your AfterDark game...Did you want me to send it back?' Oh...Mom...You have it...thank God. we were looking all over for that game.<br><br>Concerned that the CD might break, the son asked her to put it in bubble wrap. The woman said she'd be happy to do that. Days (weeks...just kidding) passed and the long awaited package came. The daughter-in-law was so excited she opened it immediately. Hmmmmm. Nice bubble wrap around an AfterDark CD CASE!!. Obviously a test of the bubble wrap to make sure it worked. The son chatted with the woman as soon as possible and asked. Yes...she still has the CD and would send it out right away now that she knows the bubble wrap works.<br><br>The daughter-in-law thought she'd mention the success of the bubble wrap to HER mother (so she would know it was good protection for cherished objects) and accidentally sent the note to the wrong mother. But that's another story.....<br><br>Now...happily...the son has a good one on both his mother and his wife......<br><br>A TRUE story for the family archives to be sure. <img src="http://www.gamecolony.com/forumhtm/images/face3.gif" width=15 height=15 border=0 align="absmiddle"> Written by the son of course ROFL <br> lol Posted by MAB Jan 5 2006 1:14PM oh my..must be part-timers in action. |
