about the quick games Posted by cantwinemal Oct 14 2007 9:35AM i love this game and realize i will never make a 1700 rating, but im quite happy plodding along and admire watching the top seed players. mr aleman is a genius and you cannot take away what he does best.but why do nearly all the top players prefer the quick fire games. they are odviously great players but you have to ask the question does the quest for quick points materialize over the enjoyment, YOU ARE FIGHTING EACH OTHER Hi Posted by MrAleman (VIP) Nov 6 2007 2:03PM Very kind of you to call me a genius, but i would not go that far - i have too many bad games for that! I've got a BCF grade of 178 but thats nowhere near master level. I play longer games in real life but enjoy the entertainment of 1/0 and the quick thinking involved. If i played say 5/0 i predict my rating to be about 2100. |
