insults and remarks Posted by CustardNick Sep 3 2006 7:22PM why do some people have to have a go at you while you are playing pool? they throw insults and remarks like " you are nothing, rubbish etc " i got called a clown and a joker the other day because i won a game! For the most part , this is the friendliest place i have found to play. I hope this one incident doesn't discourage u from sticking around. You did the right thing in ur situation. It has happened to most all of us who have been here any length of time. They should have sent u a reply with the mute code when u reported this person. If not , ask a veteran , they can tell you what it is, i forget which way the /\ goes lol. Like anything else in life, u have to take the good ( the overwhelming majority) with the bad ( the few ). I am sorry it happened, and it will prob happen again :(, but keep ur chin up , keep shooting and just ignore the poor sports when u find them. Just don't take it personally hon, some just can't play or lose well. And if you do use the mute function, be sure to follow up with a note to the Contact Us link on the left side of your main pages - Game Colony needs to know about your troubles, and why this player was muted, so they can prevent them from causing others grief.
