There is only one reason for it. This is a tool of distraction and it is used to add pressure to your final shot. The decent thing is to wait for the ball to drop and then hit the enter button. IMO it's ruder to say nothing than to type gg, when I came to this site in 2001 it was a common practise to type gg, wheather you won or lost. Now no matter what you type or if you type nothing, someone gets offended. Harry S.
