Current Best Player in Game Colony Pool at the Moment Posted by TwistTwist May 12 2007 2:39PM Hello fellow pool players. I was just wondering who the leading players were in the game at the moment. There have been some fantastic players in recent years of which im sure a few still lurk around. For me personally my game has improved greatly over the past couple of years but still there are better players. Posted by TwistTwist May 19 2007 8:54PM I think what makes this game draw people back (sometimes under other alias') is because there is always an element of competition so i think this thread has caught the attention of some people surely a thread like this can only be good for the game, try hard its a game of skill if you dont want to be competitive then dont get involved with the thread. Some of them are still here some others have to come for very long. At my first year i wasn't that good and almost all players we were like 1200 players now without skill, except some players that were good from start... GBECKY(have to come more than year) was a nightmare for all KIRK PENFOLD(is no more) was excellent the second year i came much stronger and good sneak some wins from them :) Then another player came to change everything in the game POOL... and thats my friend(and nighmare for too long...not now)HOTATLANTA which i think is the best After those ORO_22 and FIREFOXX(not seen both for while) were a top class players CELTICMAN is real good...then SHANE and TWIST_TWIST have become reall good in very short time I think MADOOLIN will agree with me(sorry if i forgot any1) I dont mention my self cause i dont care if im 1st or 2nd or 20th... i just try to make my game stronger game by game For me pool doesn't have infinitive skill like chess I think there is a limitation and then other factors decide the winner like good days or bad days! I would like to say however that the true best players are the ones that don't need to be mentioned and the ones that will, regardless or rating or ladder position play any opponent that come to their open tables. Lets not forget that this game is virtual and entirely different to a real game. Enjoy the time here or find yourself in a real room and table! insuspense.... Posted by smoby123 Jun 7 2007 4:17AM im not the best player and probebly never will be, but having played pool in the same league for 29 years i've got winners prizes, runners up and even some third spots, but what gives me the best feeling of pride is the fact that i am known not for my trophies but for my fair play and sportmanship, there are many good sports on CGpool but alas there are also some who wouldnt know sportmanship if it hit them on the head, but still we will keep enjoying our games with each other , and to the (others) try to smile now and again when your playing you never know you might enjoy it Am I Good?
