A FEW PLAYER TIPS :) Posted by PEGASUS (moderator) Mar 21 2006 10:54AM I hosted two pools yesterday and had a chance to talk to a few players and asked if they had any preferences. One was a wish for more "setter's choice" tourneys and one said he wished all tourneys would be 5 tix or more. These are just a few pool players so it would be nice if some of the rest of you gave preferences too. We aim to please!! $5 or more??! However, the TDs are struggling to get enough players as it is, so I think having ALL tournies at $5 or more would alienate more players, meaning less tournies. All in all, it would be counter productive. A random idea and I mean random... Why not take 5-10% of the entry money and put it into a "bonus kitty". Then we can have one tourney every two weeks or something (in addition to the bonus tournament) which has a high payout for low entry. And make it so that only players who have entered the previous tournies and contributed to the kitty can enter. Alot of them take place mid day, it would be nice if we could get back to having a few more later in evening. Heck middle of the night every now and then..
